  • PTA Meeting (March 2024)

    PTA meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of every month from 3:45-4:45 pm. Meetings are held in the Orchid Room as well as remotely by request. Please email us at kingmurphypta@gmail.com by 3 pm the day of the meeting if you would like to join remotely. Childcare is offered through After Care and Rocky Mountain Kids. Please sign up for childcare before the meeting, drop-offs are not allowed. The next PTA Meeting is Monday, May 13th.

  • MS/HS Principal Selection Process Information

    Please view the attached letter from Interim Superintendent Mike Gass, outlining the Principal selection process and how you can participate.

  • Important Road Closure Information (Starting 4/22)

    1) Full closure of the westbound I-70 off ramp to County Road 65 - 7 a.m. Monday, April 22 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 25 as part of construction for the US 40 & Floyd Hill Roundabouts Project. The detour will be to use the El Rancho Exit instead. 2) Traffic holds on US 40 between Homestead Road and US 6 - starting Monday, April 29 and lasting Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through the first two weeks of May. Expect traffic holds of up to 10 minutes. It is recommended that people use I-70 instead. 3) Full closure of the Homestead Road on-ramp to westbound I-70 - Timing is still being determined for this work, which is part of the US 40 & Floyd Hill Roundabouts Project. They are looking at late April into early May and could coincide with the US 40 traffic holds mentioned above.

  • Jr. Ranger Program (Spring 2024)

    Preschool participated in the Jr. Snow Ranger program, utilizing snowshoes provided by the Clear Creek Ranger District. This program introduces children of all ages to winter ecology while they snowshoe through the forest. We discovered tracks from many of our local wildlife along our King-Murphy Mountain Schools' Trail of Wonder. The preschoolers in Ms. Pippi and Mrs. Arlene’s class declared it was the best day ever!
