All About Me

Hello and Aloha!

You can find me at King- Murphy Elementary School where I currently teach the 4th grade students.

I am a local resident and love living in Evergreen.  My family and I have been here since October of 2016.

Before moving we lived on the beautiful island of Oahu where I enjoyed teaching in a small public school very similar to King-Murphy.

My teaching career began in the 80's after graduating from Longwood University with a B.S in Elementary Education. Since then I have taught in many different places as I moved around the world with my husband.  After settling for a time in San Antonio Texas,  I was finally able to complete a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Teacher Leadership 2011.  

Then we were on the move again to enjoy Hawaii for five years. 

We love Colorado and I'm thankful to be teaching in the Clear Creek School district!
