Art with Ms. Drake

Hello from the Art Room and Media Center! My name is Ms. Drake, I have the pleasure of not only leading your kids through creations and imaginative explorations in the art room, I also get to help them explore new worlds in library. I am starting my third year not only with King-Murphy but also as a teacher and I couldn't have asked for a better community to start my journey. I am an active artist myself, leaning towards watercolors more often than not. I do have a BFA in photography though, so on occasion I like to dust off my dads old 35mm and go on an adventure. If I am not in the art room you can find me out exploring on a hike or doing some camping. I also love snuggling my cat, Dekan, who your kids will become very familiar with through stories of his many antics!
