Our Mountain Community
King-Murphy Mountain School, an Experiential Learning school, is located in the beautiful mountains of Evergreen, CO. This year has brought several exciting and highly impactful changes with the implementation of Experiential Learning, which immerses students in hands-on experiences through nature based learning, research, and on expeditions throughout our mountain community. Students love learning on our 14 acre mountain campus featuring their own hiking trails and outdoor classrooms.
Our crew creates both indoor and outdoor instructional spaces where students can apply their learning to ensure that each individual child has their needs uniquely met throughout the day.
Most importantly, we believe that teaching and learning comes from the heart. We empower our mountain strong students to take ownership of both their academic learning and their personal development!
